Welcome to Warbird Wednesday! Today we will start with a new journey down the reconnaissance aircraft category starting with the Etrich Taube, a monoplane designed in 1910 that was used by a number of different National Air Forces. The Taube was mass-produced in Germany and was primarily used for observation at the start of the war, but it was very vulnerable to other aircraft and was quickly moved out of service.
