Victory Day in Japan Live Stream and Fly Over

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at approximately 11AM the Palm Springs Air Museum honors our World War II Victory in Japan with a patriotic air display throughout the Valley.

The live stream kickoff of the event will feature an interview with WWII Veteran SSgt Bob McKee, veteran of the war in the Pacific , B-29 Superfortress radar operator, 497th Bomb Group, 73rd Bomb Wing, 20th Air Force.

At 1120 the Aircraft will depart the ramp and make 1 pass prior to departing for their flight around the Coachella Valley and Eastern Riverside County.

Listen for the engines and then go outside and look up to see our patriotic flight. This Valley-wide flight display features our WWII veteran aircraft “What’s Up Doc” C-47 Skytrain, and our T-28A and our T-28B Trojan.
