In the U.S., the war was initially known as a “police action” conducted under the auspices of the United Nations. It has since been referred to as “The Forgotten War” because of the lack of public attention it received in relation to the global scale of World War II and the subsequent angst of the Vietnam War. However, we at the Palm Springs Air Museum realize the importance of this war and appreciate the service of those who fought in it. Come get a refresher course on this piece of critical American military history.
