January 3, 2016 - January 31, 2016

Begun as a volunteer air corps, the legendary “Flying Tigers” defended China during World War Two. Known for its distinctive shark-nosed planes, this corps of American pilots first achieved success against Japanese pilots shortly after the Pearl Harbor attacks, which boosted American and Allied morale. This photo exhibition depicts the historical and significant events of WWII Flying Tigers in 177 photos in 48 free standing banners. Exhibit included with regular museum admission.
