Ready, Willing and Able: The Story of a B-24 Crew

Presenter Doug Tomas will share the results of his research in the story of his great-great uncle who the flight engineer on the B-24 “Ready, Willing and Able”, shot down over northern Italy in December of 1943. Doug’s research turned up much unexpected information and eventually lead to a trip to Italy for a special dedication in 2011 but the surprising finds didn’t end there.
