Photographer Tim Wolcott was tasked by the Library of Congress to restore the original images of the Wright Brothers first flight for the 100 Anniversary of their great achievement.
The process took more than year because every piece of the restoration had to be invented. Every image was painstakingly restored using a unique way of back lighting the negative to get an exact copy of the original glass plate without destroying it. Join us for a fascinating evening with the photographic artist who preserved these precious pieces of our Nation’s history. At this event the public will have an opportunity to own one of these pieces and support the Air Museum at the same time.
Wine & hors d\’oeuvres included , Members $15 & Non-Members $20, RSVP to Carol at 760-482-1836 or [email protected]
