War between Japan and the United States had been a possibility that each nation had been aware of, and planned for, since the 1920s. Over the next decades, Japan expanded into China and spent considerable effort trying to secure enough independent resources to attain victory. We will look specifically at the role communication played in the success and failure of the missions. Join us as we remember this date that will “live in infamy”.
