Misconceptions about the Tuskegee Airmen both refutes and explores the origins of popular myths about the legendary first Black pilots in American military service, dispelling misinformation while celebrating the heroic legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. As an Air Force research historian for 37 years and author of numerous books and articles on aviation history Dr. Haulman is considered a foremost expert on the Tuskegee Airmen and has traveled extensively to lecture on the fabled pilots.
