Manufactured in 1966, Lear Jet 24A (N464CL) owned and flown by famous aviator Mr. Clay Lacy has taken part in countless television series and films including Dragnet, Any Which Way You Can, Magnum P.I. and Miami Vice. On 11/4/1971 it broke a World’s Record flying from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back in only 1 hour, 11 minutes. This record still stands today. This aircraft has truly rubbed shoulders with almost every who’s who in Hollywood over the past 50 years and now fittingly she’ll be spending her retirement with us here at the Palm Springs Air Museum in the beautiful playground of the stars.
