Young Science Professionals Scholarship

The Young Science Professionals Scholarship Fund was created to provide technical career-minded individuals the opportunity to develop professionally, civically, and socially. To date, the Palm Springs Air Museum has committed almost a quarter of a million dollars to supporting students majoring in aerospace engineering, computer science, and biology at universities including Embry Riddle, Cal Poly Pomona, UCLA, and UCR.

In order to apply for this scholarship, candidate must:

  • Be a high school senior, or full-time undergraduate student currently attending a four-year university, or have been accepted to a four-year university.
  • Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Have verifiable volunteer experience within the past two years.
  • Have membership and/or leadership experience with campus and/or community or professional organizations.
  • Complete an application and include a one-page essay explaining how you envision your involvement in the Sciences or Aerospace.
