OPEN COCKPIT SCHEDULE (ALL SATURDAYS)Aug 24th F-4 Phantom IIMuseum guests are treated to the extra special experience of being allowed to sit at the controls and pose for pictures. From 1PM -3PM each Saturday all summer long, a selected aircraft will be opened up and made accessible to the public. In addition our Buddy Rogers Theatre will play documentaries featuring that particular aircraft all day long. Museum Volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions and provide the historical back drop for the aircraft you are sitting in. Guests are strongly cautioned to dress appropriately for climbing into the planes and also reminded not to leave their cameras at home. This is a rare experience that you’ll want to remember forever.Open cockpit experience is free with paid Museum admission. The Palm Springs Air Museum reserves the right to refuse access to anyone deemed to be a hazard to themselves, other guests and/ or the aircraft
Every Saturday between now and August 24th, sit inside the cockpit at the controls of a vintage aircraft. Be sure and bring your camera! Wear comfortable clothing for climbing up into the plane. Documentaries on the history of the aircraft will show inside the Buddy Rogers Theater and volunteers will be available to answer questions and give you more information about the aircraft. (Some physical restrictions apply). Open Cockpit Saturdays are included with regular museum admission.
